Hi girlies, i need your help and wise guidance on how to put on mascara without making such a mess on your eyelids. Most of the time it gets like on my eyelids near the eyelashes line (it’ll look like i’m putting on a messy eyeliner), and it’s so annoying. Please help.

Also, I’m using the Maybelline’s The falsies lash lift mascara. It always smudges underneath my eyes after several hours, how do i fix this? Any other mascara recommendations?

Update: Thankyou so much for all the help, recommendations and suggestions on what to do. All of it works! My favorite one is to tilt my chin up and my head slightly to the right (when doing my right lashes) and left (when doing the left lashes), it avoids hitting my eyelids. And I’m so relieved knowing this is a universal thing and I wasn’t the stupid one for being so messy when putting on mascara. I love women so much. You all helped me <3 This is such a #girlhood moment.
