Is safe to take medecine about UTI during pregnancy ?

I am 11weeks and I just found out I have uti and she gave me medecine cephalexin 500 mg 4 days a day for 5 weeks. So do you think is safe during pregnancy Iam so scared to take it . Any advice please or someone had experience like that.

It’s safe, and a dr wouldn’t prescribe it to you if it were dangerous.

It’s a lot more dangerous if you don’t take it. If you leave a UTI untreated, it can spread and you can become septic. There’s no other cure for a UTI besides antibiotics. Take your medicine
