I usually just use up the tests I have. Usually stop testing a few days after my first positive test

I generally tested daily from 7dpo to 15dpo. Then every other day from 17dpo to 25dpo, then once a week until my first ultrasound. 
Occasionally I'd take a random test again if I needed to reassure myself that I was still pregnant. It helped relieve my anxiety to see a positive test even though it doesn't really mean much at that point. The little strip tests are cheap and I had like 100 of them.
