1st miscarriage @ 9 weeks

I went in at 9 weeks & 1 day and there was no heart beat. 💔 I wasn’t having any cramping or bleeding but rather just had a appt scheduled for that day. I guess my body hadn’t realized baby wasn’t growing anymore just yet? 🤷🏼‍♀️Baby was showing 9 weeks of growth so it must’ve just happened. I ended up getting Misoprostol and now 5 days post. Still bleeding & some tissue being released. It’s been such an emotional experience and a tough 5 days since it’s happened. I go back on the 10th for follow up bloodwork & ultrasound (🤞🏼hopefully numbers are trending down & tissue is all out). This event has caused so much anxiety and worry. Does 1 miscarriage put you more at risk of having another? My doctor mentions it’s more than likely a chromosome factor , is this related to age? I’m 34 & my husband is 37. Taking Misoprostol, does that mean we should wait longer before trying again?
