Friend moving out
So my husband and I let a friend move in with us 6 months ago with her two kids. The two kids shared a room with our daughter and the friend got her own room. Now she started to move out on Tuesday. She does have a job but it is flexible as she makes her own hours really. When is it okay to just bag up the rest of her and her kids clothes and set it by the door. Normally I wouldn’t have an issue with her stuff still being here as it has only been a few days. However, the room has garbage in it, it smells, stuff is on the wall and carpet. There is food that is left in the room. I already dumped the trash can from her room as that was something I normally do for her anyways when I would see it full. The trash can now disgusting as well. She didn’t put a trash bag or any bag in it after the last time she took it out and the was wrapped up bloody tampon at the bottom of the can. It was stuck to the trash can. I am going to have to deep clean this room. Please no hate as I want to respect her and her stuff, but at the same time I really want to get a start on her old room.
Edit: yesterday when I texted her saying she got a package she did tell me she would be here yesterday or today. Now with that being said she can be very unreliable about when she is actually coming. I am not mad at her for the state of the room. I am frustrated though because we let her use us as a stepping stone to get on her feet while she separated from her husband. We didn’t make her pay rent or anything like that. She did willingly give us a little bit of money each month. Since I stay at home with my kids I would clean her bathroom for her, the house was mostly clean all the time. The only thing I did except was a clean room and that didn’t happen.
Edit 2: she moved into an apartment. I know where it’s kind of located, but not which one it is. It would also take me multiple trips for me to drop off the stuff. Her kids toys, clothes, some of her bedding, her son’s crib, and whatever else that is still here.
