Has anyone had a successful vbac?

Question

I’m 12 months post C-section and just found out I’m expecting again and due in September 2024
When baby is here my second born will be 21 months old
My first born was delivered naturally 
The C-section wasn’t performed for any medical reasons or anything I was just induced and after my waters went my daughter became distressed very quickly. 
Anyone else with a similar age gap/experience??
I’m really hoping for a vbac this time 🤞🏼

I did not have a successful VBAC, but I wanted to point out that you having a prior successful natural birth means you are more likely to have a successful VBAC. The most important thing is finding a provider who is supportive of VBAC. Good luck!

My first was vaginal. My second was a csection. Third was a vbac 19 months after csection. There was never a question since my first was vaginal.

What I was told was if the issue is on the baby side you can do a trial of labor, if the issue is on the maternal side they’d prefer a csection. I labored for 50 hours with my first and then developed chorio. Baby was in a bad position and couldn’t descend. I did not want to go through all of that again so I opted for a repeat. But I could have done a trial.
