Vanishing twin??

Has anyone had a positive experience?? Doctor said one baby measuring 8w1d and other baby measuring 6w2d… has anyone ever hear of this and the second baby survived??? Is this possible? Doctor told me it will probably absorb

Happened to me. Body does absorb it

Not personally and its VERY rare but I have read articles in which a woman conceives a second time while having an existing pregnancy in place. Again, very rare but its one reason in which twins would measure so differently.
