My husband is the sahd. And every single day i text him when im getting off of work. In the morning we only exchanged 1-2 text messages and NEVER mentioned anything about going out. So I texted him when im getting off at 3:30 and he said oh im at my uncles house. I consider it that miscommunication, if hes going out specially if hes planning on staying out for HRS i think he should tell me like “ hey babe just fyi im going over my uncles house with our kid, im planning on staying another 4 hrs “ or whatever they doing… Im at work thinking they are home while they are out. It’s already 6:20 and they are still not home. I dont wanna text him hey at what time are u getting home, hey what u guys doing now, etc… HE should be the one updating me, or letting me know when they are heading home since the uncle lives an hr away so its not like its a 10 min drive. I dont know at what time they left, at what time they coming back, i feel very left out.
