How far along were you when you ordered through a website (Aeroflow for ex.) to get the pump covered by insurance?

I ordered mine around 33/34 weeks and I just got it yesterday. I’m 35 weeks now. It’s a super fast process, but I’d suggest getting your OBGYNs fax number and calling your insurance to ask which breast pump companies they accept to make it easier.
I learned my insurance only allows motif breast pump and few others so I ordered a motif from Aeroflow

I was in the beginning of my second trimester when I ordered on Aeroflow with my insurance. I also booked four lactation classes at the time.

18 weeks, my insurance tends to take a long time to do everything so I did it early. I used Babylist they faxed my doctor and took care of everything after I put the information in and picked my pump. They said they will send the order 70 days before my due date. I think that’s pretty typical.

Aeroflow is great, I just ordered through them at 26 weeks. They ask for your due date and insurance info, so if for some reason it was too early, I think they would let you know.

You can order at any time, but they won’t ship it out until a 1-3 months before baby is due depending on the insurance company ￼
