IVF or not?

I've been ttc for a year now. May and June took letrozole. July and August took letrozole with a trigger shot and IUI. Took a break and had a chemical in November at just shy of five weeks. I found out a few weeks ago I have a polyp and fibroid in my uterus that appear to be a decent part of the issue. I'm getting it taken out on 1/23. My RE is saying we can try naturally after if we want or can begin IVF because I am 37 and have one blocked tube.

Obviously chances of success are greater with IVF but also going through IVF doesn't seem fun...

Can anymore give me more insight into how it actually is to go through IVF?

Also, we just switch to my husband's insurance that covers IVF, so cost isn't an issue in this case.
