I had a miscarriage on Dec. 1st at 6 weeks and we are TTC again. I currently am on antibiotics and took the first prednisone dose two days ago because I didn’t think I would be ovulating for at least another week. I didn’t take the second dose yesterday because I had a positive OPK (I use cheap strips and the digital Clear Blue). My cycles are never consistent but I never ovulate this early. Has anyone ever had a similar experience or an understanding of how prednisone can impact fertility? I’ve read that I shouldn’t take it when TTC and when I called my doctor he confirmed that I should stop taking it. I think I’m going to keep testing with OPK for another week or so because I have ovulated during the second LH surge during my cycle previously. Also, I used to get the flashing smiley for a couple days before and the lines would progressively get darker but last month and this month it has gone from nothing to peak day. Is that normal?
