If so how many days does this normally last before ovulation ?

Although not reliable if you do log it regularly it can give you an indication. I typically get it a day or 2 before i believe i ovulate. I get ovulation  bloat a day or so after i get EMCM and this happens every month like clock work around day 13-15.

Ewcm can happen at anytime of your cycle and not be anywhere close to ovulation. Its not a reliable way to track ovulation
