I’m 9dpo today and woke up to find pink and brown blood when I wiped. I thought maybe it was implantation bleeding but it looked a lot more than I was expecting.

Fast forward an hour and I was passing more brown blood with clots. My period has come basically. 5 days early!

I had a chemical pregnancy early November. We didn’t have the heart to try in December and my period was bang on time, as usual. This month we tried again and my period has come 5 days early but honestly it’s resembling my CP. Same colour and consistency; stringy brown clots. It’s enough that I need a pad and can feel it coming out but not enough that I’ve actually filled a pad. It feels too early to be a CP again, but could it be??

It’s just bloody (pardon the pun) irritating that I was holding off on testing this month, because I’m terrified of another CP, until my missed period, only for it to catch me by surprise FIVE DAYS EARLY. My cycles are typically 33/34 days long and this one has been 28.

I have had sore breasts this month which I never normally get before AF, so I got my hopes up.

TTC is rough.

I really thought this cycle was going to be it. My husband and I are devastated yet again. Part of me is hoping that this is my period though, because if it’s another CP, I don’t think I could cope.
