I know this is an odd question but usually couples live together share a lot of their stuff.

I’ve been with my bf for about 2 years now and we’ve been living together for one of them. We have jobs with crazy schedules.

Right now we are on opposite schedules. He’s on night shift while I’m on days. I feel terrible going into our room during the day when he’s asleep and getting ready, possibly being loud and waking him up.

I love him a lot but I don’t want to hurt his feelings by saying I’d like my own space for hobbies and for when we’re on opposite schedules. I don’t want him to think I don’t want to sleep in the same room together.

I’d also love to have my own space in our little home where I can have my own stuff and decorate how I’d like.
