Pregnant with #4 and due in a few weeks. I found a local birth photographer doing free sessions, and snagged one. She is also offering a free newborn session. I can't decide how I feel about it. It's our last baby. I want my husband to be present. However, I have wonderful photos from my first birth and cherish them so much. I don't want to put the burden of photos on him. My midwife said the nursing staff would be happy to snap a bunch of photos. The photographer is really kind, but it's my last baby and I am thinking I may want it to be just me and my husband. Typically my labor and delivery goes pretty smoothly, but I am unsure how i feel about having someone there for it all. As far as the "Fresh 48", we really try spend the least amount of time possible at the hospital, and we hate being there. A photo session may not end up being super enjoyable. Thoughts? Did you have a birth photographer? Did you love it?
