Guessing I should fall back…

So I met this guy through a mutual friend. He had the most unique pick up line ever so I couldn’t say no. We started constantly communicating and everything is perfect. He gives great advice, always go above and beyond to help me like waking up at 6 to take me to work cause my car is down when he goes to bed at 4. He’s sweet and affectionate, but has 2 kids by 1 woman. He’s a great/active father but the downside is his baby mother asked who I was yesterday and he replied he didn’t know. The mutual friend told me about it and told me don’t tell him he told her. The mutual friend is very trustworthy and now I’m reconsidering things due to trust issues. Am I doing too much and should I keep presuming or cease all communications like my first mind?
