How are you revealing your baby name?

We have been keeping it to ourselves. Not sure how I want to announce it but would love ideas! Are you choosing to announce at birth? Are you going to be just telling people, or do you have something special planned out?

For me I went ahead and told CERTAIN ppl just his first name in case they want to bring personalized items to my baby shower, but I will announce to others once my baby is here.

If girl till birth, naming after my mom so it’s a surprise. Boy I don’t know maybe the same. Last time we didn’t decide on a name till after birth and it was nice not having so many opinions.

We've always told people when they ask or if it comes up during pregnancy and wait to put it on social media until birth, you'll always get the bad reactions no matter what you name your babe so prepare for that whenever you do announce 🤷‍♀️🤣

I told my daughter’s name when we found out she was a girl (and several people used her first name as middle names for their girls after and I wasn’t super about that); I’m more guarded with this one! We had a few names we were set on and made the mistake of telling people and our names were not well received. The name we decided on now we told a few close friends and family but won’t be announcing it til he’s born.

With my first we announced his name once we knew his gender. Second we announced at birth and with our last we decided to just announce with an ultrasound picture, the tech put baby girls name on it.
I personally don’t mind sharing my kids names, no one I know has ever tried to “steal” the name and even if they did I wouldn’t change the name I have had picked for a long time
