One year photo session

I did a family photo session when my 1st child turned one year old. I would like to do another family photo session when my 2nd child turns one but I can’t decide when to do it. Would love your input!

My baby has an October birthday and I live in an area that experiences all four seasons. I can do the photo session in October when she actually turns one year old but it will be a bit cooler out, or I can do the photo session in September so she won’t quite be one yet but the weather will be a bit warmer and we can dress more summer-y.

I really want to dress in more summery clothing, but I also really love the idea of doing the photo shoot when she is actually one year old.

What would you do?
