I don’t know where else to post this because i haven’t been able to find any groups with my current situation. I had gastric bypass in May 2023. I am currently 11w0d. I have officially lost my first 100lbs (yey me! 🎉 Thanks to pregnancy (morning) sickness too). I think this info is relevant because I had an appointment with the OB yesterday and we decided to try to see if we can hear baby’s heartbeat, but didn’t expect to hear anything. We kept hearing ghosts of heartbeat but the doctor was able to find the heartbeat and get a heart rate!! (it was 145 bpm) I was never able to do that before 15 weeks in my previous pregnancies! I’m so happy and excited about that! I’m still considered obese, but this one “little” thing made me so happy and excited.
