Nope it’s a commercial holiday that doesn’t dictate how or what my partner and I do in our relationship. We don’t need it to buy the each a gifts or tell them say we love each other just because it’s February 14th

Honestly no, we’ve said it to each other via text since my husband’s at work but it’s literally just a normal day to us, we got our kids a gift, went out for a meal just us last Friday.

It doesn't matter. I've told my husband a million times I couldn't care less, but he still makes a big deal about it. He felt so guilty about doing overtime today instead of staying home with me that he couldn't fall asleep until I reassured him that it's just a Hallmark holiday and it's arbitrary. If he didn't even say Happy Valentine's Day it wouldn't bother me.
