I'm going to have a planned C-section due to a previous unplanned one. At what week does the OB usually talk about the date?

L&D nurse- our hospital will schedule them 8 weeks out.

Depends on your office. Some offices will schedule them a few weeks in advance, some will schedule the date right at your first appointment (if you know you’re having a scheduled CS). With my first, I think we scheduled about 5-6 weeks in advance.

Usually 39 weeks unless you have an issue like gestational diabetes and they're concerned for babies health and yours. That happened with my 2nd one. It was scheduled at 38 weeks
