Bleeding at 6 weeks

I'm 6 weeks and 1 day today. And during work I noticed bleeding when I went to the bathroom. I had awful back pain yesterday but no pains at all today. The blood was like a dark pink colour. In a blind panic I rushed to the hospital. They were really good. I have an early scan booked for Thursday morning. The bleeding as gone really light( only when wiping now)since being down the hospital. I have however had 1 small blood clot. And one else go through this and still have a healthy pregnancy?
