1 HR GLUCOSE TEST! Pass or fail?

Did it earlier today, results JUST posted on MyChart. It says high… will I have to redo it with the 3 hr 😫😫😫😫😫😫 result of 114…

under 135 or 140 is passing for the 1 hour test. mine was about the same and my OB said it was good. the reference range on there is normal blood sugar while fasting, since you drank the glucose drink it’s going to say high

My understanding from it is you have to be under 140. I could be wrong tho!

114 is a PASS. Depending on your office, they may use 130, 135, or 140 as the cutoff, but 114 is below all of those. The reason that it’s flagging as “high” is because the range there is for a typical, non-pregnant person fasting (approx 60-100).

Wait ...you mean to tell me that it's not normal to do the 1 hour test and then the 3 hour test?
This is my 3rd pregnancy, haven't gotten to the glucose test yet, but with my first 2 I had to do both tests. I was told in both pregnancies that I passed the 1 hour, but still had to do the 3 hour test anyways. 
I thought it was normal to do both!

I was told that anything over 135 warrants the 3 hour test. I got confirmation today that I passed mine at 104. You should be okay.

Yep that’s right! Remember it’s very common to fail the 1 hour test. Its a good sign your numbers were barely over though - hopefully means you’ll pass the 3 hour!
