My ex husband and I were getting ready to move to Italy, a week before we fly out he tells me he wants a divorce, all my things were already shipped except the clothes I had in luggage. In the divorce we agreed to keep everything that’s in our name ours. So he kept his vehicles and things like that I just wanted little things back my clothes, shoes and some sentimental things. I offered to pay for shipping and he has never made the effort to send anything back to me. He is now back in the US and still won’t respond to me about my belongings. It’s been 2 years since our split but barely even a year from finalized the divorce. What steps can I take to get my belongings back. I can’t afford much since he emptied our joint bank account and took all of our savings so I had to start fresh from a home, clothes and a car.
