Emergency Birth control pills

Hello! So today I unfortunately lost my birth control pill pack during my week of no pills for period. I take a combo pill and today at 5pm, I was supposed to start my new pack.

Due to my circumstances, I found an old pill pack that expired 9/2023 and took Sundays pill for today only. I’ll be picking up my new pill pack tomorrow.

Will I be okay for effectiveness? Should I take two pills tomorrow and consider today’s expired pill as “not taken?” Or is it okay if the pill is 5 months expired in good stored condition and I should continue as regular with one pill tomorrow.
