My pregnancy "diet"
Not a twin specific thing but I know many of us are stressed out about gaining too much weight or too little weight so I wanted to post. Many of you have probably heard that our babies learn about foods in the womb. The foods we eat flavor the amniotic fluid which our babies ingest and babies are more likely to like the foods we eat when we're pregnant. They've done studies with carrots and also licorice (which I think is a good indicator because most people don't like licorice).
But not everyone may have heard of a study out of Sweden that moms that eat chocolate during pregnancy have happier babies! So my pregnancy "diet" is trying to get as much fruits and vegetables in as I can (if I don't eat my peas and carrots how can I expect my babies to like them when they're born?!) and a little bit of chocolate every day. While I don't know how true the results of that study are, a excuse to eat a little chocolate every day is not bad! Happy eating!
