Spotting? Weird!

My period should start the 8th & I’ve been having this spotting for 3 days now and looks like it’s going away now.

I spot brown but heavier day before my period and then start heavy normal flow next day so this is weird for me. We are TTC and not sure whats happening. I didnt test positive which was SUPER FAINT with my 2022 baby until 3 days before my period so I will try to test tomorrow see what it shows. Anyone ever have this happen? What was the outcome
