Skipping my period while on vacation. How?

I'm booked for a week cruise in 60 days. Of course now my period is predicted to happen that whole week. I don't take birth control. What can I do? I've been reading about progesterone pills, but I'm nervous about side effect.

You would have to start birth control. Then when you finish that first pack, instead of taking the sugar pills, you just move on to the next pack of pills and you won't bleed
