gbs + and induced?

curious if anyone has ever chosen to be induced because they were gbs positive?

My last birth I was positive but my daughter was born within 2 hours so I didn’t even get one dose of the antibiotics in and had to stay the full 48 hours. I’m positive again and at my last appointment they mentioned an induction to make sure I get antibiotics if i only want to stay one day. Curious if anyone has a similar experience? Or if you haven’t, what route would you choose?

*edit* I was induced with my first and had an ok experience but opted for an epidural because of the intense contractions. With my second she came very fast and I didn’t get an epidural. My goal this time was to not have an epidural just because I know I can do it without one now, but not sure if I can with pitocin contractions. **The main reason I don’t want to stay the full 48 hours is because of care plans for my kids.**
