Pegging Positions for Starters?!

My man and me are interested in pegging but no matter how much lube we use, I get an "ouch, it feels dry" as I go deeper. Any tips for either his end or my "end"? 😅
P.S.- Smallest Dildo we use is 1inch at the tip, & 1 1/4 at the base, & about 6 inches long. I'm currently saving up for something smaller in case that's the issue.

1 Is it like a dry inside issue or a dry around the rim issue?
2 Are you doing a lot of prep beforehand?(slowly stretching)
3 Is he relaxed enough physically/mentally?
4 Have you tried starting with plugs?

We don’t peg but we used to do anal I just don’t find any pleasure in it anymore, we used analease and it numbs you back there you have to apply enough and play with for like 10 mins you have to give it time to work.

He has to relax for one, and also depends on the lube. Also is he doing prep before? Maybe try stroking him as you peg or having him do it to help relax. Also depends on the dildo you’re using, a soft silicone would be better than a hard dense silicone

Try using a lube that also gives a warming sensation. Have you tried using your fingers with lube to see how he feels?
