As the title says 😊 here is my rainbow baby! 🌈

Healthy heartbeat, although the little one was not moving (I was certain I saw a flicker in its little nubs for hands and feet, every so often)

it was very hard to make out movement so I imagined it was asleep, or just too small to be moving around a lot.. even though I ate a lot of sweet stuff prior to the scan! 😅

The sonographer allowed my partner to take a video of the tv screen for around 2 minutes

It is measuring at 1.5cm (roughly the size of an olive) 🫒

it was supposed to be due on October 28th. But the date was changed to October 22nd (one day after my partner’s birthday!)

It is only a 6 day difference to original estimation of gestational age (from beginning of last period)

I was mostly expecting it to be 1 - 2 weeks smaller at the least! Not ‘over’ so this was a huge surprise to know I am a little further along than believed

My partner said that I glowed when I saw our precious baby, and I could not stop smiling the entire time. I was grinning all the way home in a half hour car journey, and even when we got home I was still smiling 😅😂

He said he has not seen me like that in years since I was pregnant with our almost 8yo son! 💕🥰
