Do I tell her?

So I created a post last night essentially asking if I should have a conversation with my best friend about some of her bad dating habits and I took the advice of a couple of girls that responded. One was quite respectful. The other told me that “maybe I should just stay in my own lane”. So I deleted the post and took the advice.

But oddly enough my best friend sent me a memo today that she was disappointed in herself for sleeping with this new guy so soon and while she was intoxicated nonetheless and that they tried having sex again last night but she just wasn’t comfortable with it because she really does want to take things slow this time and I responded and told her I had sent her a memo last night basically telling her not to beat herself up about it, but to pump the breaks but I unsent the memo because I was worried she’d take offense to it.

So this is just a friendly reminder to my fellow advice seekers out here to take advice with a grain of salt because no one knows the people or situations you’re talking about better than you do! And not everyone on here really cares to give constructive advice.

I think people just assumed I sounded like a jealous best friend. But I’m happily married with 2 kids over here…so it’s not that at all. I just really care about my best friend and I want the best for her and she knows that 💕
