C section moms... driving?

Question

When did you start driving again? I am only one week and 3 days post surgery and probably need more time, but wondering when you started driving, exercising or lifting anything?

I started driving 2.5 weeks after my C-section. I am probably overdoing it with the lifting/carrying heavy stuff, but somebody has to, I can't always wait until my husband gets home 😏

I was told no driving for at least 2 weeks (and obviously longer if you are still on strong pain meds), and no exercising or lifting anything heavier than baby for 6 weeks.

Whoops..  mine was born Dec 18 I was out driving shopping lifting cleaning dec 22... brutal c section too.. prob should have taken it easy...

My OB said 2 weeks PP or as early as when you stop taking your narcotic pain medicine.

My baby is 4 weeks 1 day and I haven driven yet. I haven't had any pain meds since we left the hospital at 6 days and totally feel I can drive, but if I was to be in an accident my insurance wouldn't cover me. In saying that, I won't make it to 6 weeks as my husband has to go away for work next week and I refuse to be a prisoner in my own home

I was told as soon as I could slam on breaks with no pain. Minimum 2 weeks though.  I'm 16 days postpartum.  And have been driving for 3 days

I was told wait 4 weeks but if stomped two times & it didn't hurt then I was okay. I was cleaning & stuff though the day I got home!

I was told I was able to drive a week after no was driving within like 5 days.

I was told 2 weeks. I had post surgical complications at 10 days, so I was delayed until I was completely off narcotics, which was 4 weeks. I felt like I was being chauffeured around!
