Will they induce me early?

Im 32 weeks 1 day and my growth scan showed baby boy at 6 pounds. Im nervous and still waiting to talk to provider.

No & if they recommend it based off of a growth scan say no

If you don’t have any other medical high risk areas I don’t think they will. Those growth scans are never very accurate

Ultrasounds aren't very accurate for weight. I was told my newborn would be around 10 lbs, she was born at 7 lbs. All of my babies were a couple of pounds off from the scans.

these scans are usually not accurate at all. i wouldn’t get induced unless medically necessary

I don’t think so, if they are going solely based off the weight at this point that wouldn’t make sense . 6 pounds at 32 weeks is fine . Baby does most of their growing in the third trimester so there’s plenty  of time for growth . Those scans are also not always accurate and can be off by a pound or 2 . My daughter was born at 6 pounds and was perfectly fine , 6 pounds is still a good weight.

Your baby is not even fully developed at 32 weeks. And most growth scans are not accurate, it’s an estimation. My boys were measuring over 9lbs and only came out 8lbs 3oz.
