I am confused…

The past day I’ve experienced some light bleeding. I don’t want to get my hopes up but I did want some opinions- please don’t be harsh, I’ve been on this journey awhile just like everyone else. Most of the bleeding I’ve experienced is just when I wipe. At first I thought- maybe it’s implantation bleeding. Then I thought- well maybe it’s a period. But I’m not really cramping, it’s more like just pressure in my uterus and some twitches- if I had cramps they were pretty mild I’ve barely bled enough to even reach a panty liner and nothing has been soaked through. I put a menstrual disc in thinking it was probably a period but there’s hardly been anything in it. No clots, mainly like a dusty pink blood and some cervical mucus. I don’t know whether to consider this a period, or do a test in two days and see if it was implantation. Any suggestions? Anyone experienced this and had it not be a period? My areolas are a little darker but that means nothing because hormones are wild and pms and pregnancy are so similar. I just don’t know what to think. I don’t want to get my hopes up, but I would also like to have a break from this long journey we’ve been on, it’s taking its toll.
