He didn’t want to go on date night

So, a couple weeks ago we had a babysitter for a night and there was a concert. The concert, food, drinks was about to be $300-$500 for the night. We definitely love to have a good time. But this time he didn’t want us to go. And no, money wasn’t an issue because we definitely have money saved and made good money that week. About over $3,000 that week so I thought we’d have a good time and go out but idk what his problem was? Yes, maybe he wanted to buy me something special maybe see me happy idk but I would’ve much rather have gone out together and had fun! Date night over materialistic stuff. Trust me, money was not an issue. We are business owners so our monthly income does vary but $10,000-$12,000.
