Was I wrong

I work at a before and after school program. There was no school yesterday for the kids because the teachers had some type of work shop so we had day camp. We have a Nintendo switch that kids use to play just dance or Mario, etc. Our program starts at 7am and ends at 6pm. Not a single kidp touched that Nintendo switch all day. I had already been annoyed thay day because certain kids weren't listening and there are these two girls specifically. Theyre 10. I get it. They're young. But they are both known to not listen and both like to start things. It was about 5 something so our program would be closing in less than an hour. A boy decided to start playing mario and thats when those girls decided to go over there to play just dance and asked him to get off. They come to me about it and I said "He's on it. Nobody has touched that switch all day. You guys just want it now because he's on it. Go find something else to play with." Instead of doung that they decided to take the switch out of the dock so he couldn't play on it and I took it back and made them sit out until botg their parents got there. One of the girls started crying and cried to her mom who was upset and took her daughters side and said she isn't paying $300 a month for her daughter to be forced to sit out. I am not ready for the summer program.
