4cm dilated will they send me home?

I got admitted to the hospital yesterday because I was having contractions 1 min apart ..

I had a appointment on the 7th and I was 1cm.

Yesterday they checked me at L&D and I was 3cm they had me walk for two hrs to see if I dilate to 4cm or they wouldn’t keep me!

I did get to 4cm

They gave me fentanyl to help with the pain and so I could get sleep .. they are waiting till I get to 5 or 6cm to give me epidural..

But after they gave me fentanyl I don’t feel contractions or maybe it hasn’t wore off and I can’t feel them .

Will they still send me home ?

Nurse told me they won’t “ you are having this baby “ but another nurse said she will check for dilation in the morning and if I’m still at 4cm then will figure out what to do! I don’t know if that means if I’m still at 4cm they will send me home or induce me..
