Weird reaction or am I overthinking?

Earlier this afternoon my husband came home from work. He works in 2 different Walmarts, he is NOT employed by Walmart and outside company that goes in to stock items.

Lately he’s had weird behaviors. One day I noticed when went to beep my air tag his location was off allllll day, he bought new clothes and asked what looks good with what ( work has no dress code just casual)

Well today…..

He came home from work handed me a bag

Inside was chicken, eggs, and 1 can of dog food. Receipt was in the bag. I glanced over it and it showed “chocolate” I didn’t say anything.

An hour later he said “did you see it got chicken, eggs and dog food?”

I said yessss and chocolates 🥹

He said huuuuuh whaaaaaat? No?

I said I saw the receipt? I thought you were surprising me for my birthday?

He said huuuuuuh no must be a mistake if I did it was a snickers…. *scoffs* I don’t know

I said you don’t remember what you bought an hour ago?

He shook his head and said I don’t know huuuuuuh

I laughed and said it’s ok if you bought yourself chocolate, I’m not mad or anything it’s ok…..

He said I don’t know what you’re talking about and if I did it was a snickers no idea 🤷‍♂️

I scanned the receipt cos my gut told me too and yeah he bought a snickers.

Was he being weird or am I overreacting??
