The longer we are in relationships the more you have to work at it. To break up the norm. To make the relationship a priority. When there’s kids. And parents or in-laws they drive you nuts. And health issues. Jobs. And deadlines. Stress. Lack of sleep. Etc.  relationships are what you make them. Living like room mates. Breaking up the norm. Date nights. Vacations. Weekend away or a week away. As we get older hormones change. When was the last time that you made yourself feel good. Pampered yourself. Felt pretty. Felt good about your body. As we age weight can fluctuate. Body image or insecurities. When was the last time you had romance, wrote love notes. Read poetry to each other. Slow danced in the kitchen. Massage. Took a bath together. Held hands and took a walk. Had fun together. Appreciated and complimented each other. Told each other what you adore about the other. Connected emotionally. And on another level…. When was the last time that you talked about fantasies and fulfilled them. Talked dirty. Power dynamics. Roll played. Incorporated sex toys. Told the other what you could not wait to do to the other the minute they got home… building that anticipation and excitement like it was in the beginning.

What do you guys like to do ? We try to recycle date ideas . Picnics on the beach , game days ( board games video games ETC ) , long walks in a sight seeing area , amusement parks , Airbnb weekend , movie nights , random dates fully planned , a dancing class/skating . Find things y’all have in common or want to do and go do them.  Laser tag , min golf , go karting , paintball ?
