Help me please

So I started spotting on the 28th of May 5 days before my period was due only happened twice that day and didnt start spotting again until yesterday evening. The spotting doesn't look anything like my period it's more of a brownish color and it's only when I wiped nothing in the toilet. so my question is would this be maybe considered as implantation bleeding? Does spotting count as day 1 for my cycle. I'm just confused cause it's not like a normal flow for me.
