Any moms know what this could be?

My babies been suffering with these bumps for over 6 months now and his doctor said they should go away in a year or more. I’m taking him to a dermatologist for further tests but right now he’s scratching them and most are popping on their own and swelling up. I just wish I had more answers…

It looks like it could be molluscum contagiosum. Which is viral, and the doctor is right it goes away on its own but very slowly. It is contagious between people and it can also be spread on himself if he scratches. Cover the spots with large Band-Aids or cover with clothing to help stop the spread.

This could be baby acne or a viral rash either way you will need a dermatologist or a doctor to help you. My daughter had spots like these on her scalp and it ended up being a dairy allergy turned into an an infection. I personally wouldn’t ignore it and definitely not for an year
