Money Is Always A Issue With Him And I’m Tired
Hey y’all gonna try to make this short lol
So as you see from the title my boyfriend is always struggling with money. He has a good job that pays decently and gets paid weekly some days he works 10 hours and gets overtime almost weekly he’s in the process of becoming a manager at a popular brewery in Atlanta. With that being said we are supposed to go to Jamaica in August 24-27🇯🇲
I have told him about this trip since April, my brother is going with his girlfriend because his girlfriend family members is having a birthday trip. My brother told me I should come, so of course I want to go! We have Jamaican heritage and we are very connected to our culture and this would be our first time visiting our country of our cultural identity so this means a lot
My boyfriend was on board when I told him. Fast forward to now he’s changed his mind. He’s saying it’s about his funds and how he needs to focus on saving money. The trip isn’t August 24-27.
So I was saying to him why can’t you save enough money from now til then? I told him I’d pay for his flight and to just pay me back. I told him I’d split our room together and we can share expenses together
Despite my offers he doesn’t want to go.
My boyfriend blows his money almost weekly and could have roughly saved up around anywhere from 25,000-29,000 within a year of his work. I did the math and deducted his bills and other expenses and that’s the number we got
. His rent is very cheap and his monthly bills are less than $400 He said he’s embarrassed to talk about his finances because he knows he’s irresponsible with his money. After our talk he promised to start saving money and being responsible because he wants to move out his current apartment next year. Last summer we were outside and did so much and had a lot of fun but it definitely slowed down, because he always brings up money
Am I trippin yall?
I’m the green in the text messages
I’m 28 and he’s 33,
