Complete Placenta previa

Angelina

Hi Mamas!

I have a question for those of you who were diagnosed early on with complete Praevia (when your placenta covers your cervix)

I had a dating ultrasound this past week and I'm about a week and a half behind what they thought I was, which is no big deal, but they noted in the paperwork that my placenta is covering my cervix (with the technical terms of course)

I didn't know what that had meant so I googled...never google......and it freaked me out. So I texted my friend that's an ultrasound tech and she said since I wasn't even 12 weeks at the time of my ultrasound she felt it was too early to diagnose it officially as that and that it was very possible that my placenta will move out of the way as my uterus grows and not cause any problems.

Of course my anxiety is going full throttle because of all the scary complications that have the potential to come with this if it doesn't move out of the way.

This is my 3rd pregnancy so it's not my first rodeo but it is my first time potentially having a "risky" pregnancy. So I'm terrified. 😞

If anyone has had this, what was your experience?
