Husband forcing me to move with his sister

We have 2 kids. We go half on finances. My husband makes about 2000$ more than me. I told him i was struggling to keep up with that lifestyle as a freelancer. It costs me about 4k a month, thats with no left over because we live in luxury apartment. I told him i wanted to go back to where we were which rent was lower and that would leave me with something at the end of each month, about 600$. He said that was no money to make a move back to a lower lifestyle. He hated the neighborhood where we lived before, i think the place was fine. I asked if he wanted to look for a not luxury place around where we are now. He didn’t say anything. Yesterday he said he had two options for me, we could stay in this place and he would cover that 600$ or we can move in with his sister and i can save double and he would too. The problem is my husband has lived with my family and he gets comfortable, he doesn’t leave. Another is my husband doesn’t save any money, he spends all his money. Im not homeless, i told him i just want to downgrade from a luxury apartment, i don’t want to move in with anyone. He got so angry this morning, he says he will move with his sister and i and the kids can move to wherever. My husband collects military benefits but refuses to get any job even part time. We go half and half on everything even diapers. I don’t understand why he wouldn’t relieve me knowing i don’t make the same amount sometimes.

He changed his mind, he doesn’t want to cover that. He wants to go to his sister and we live in the basement. But he doesn’t save money at all, he spends all his money. I just wanted to go to normal apartment, he says im lowering his lifestyle. So he wants to go to his sis so i can save some money and i guess we move in another luxury apartment.
