My baby girl has finally arrived. After 40 weeks and 3 days I had to be induced due to a preeclampsia diagnosis(crazy because I had good blood pressure and health the entire pregnancy.) I started having contractions at home lasting 1-3 minutes long and 10-30 minutes apart. I decided to call my OB and they told me to go in since I was due anyway only to find out about the preeclampsia. My contractions on the Pitocin were terrible and I needed that epidural (which ended up only working on my left side anyway.) However, after 18 hours of labor

I brought my baby earth-side with 5 or 6 pushes. I did suffer a second degree tear and some severe bleeding after but, thanks to the hospital staff they were able to help me manage it and I’m back to feeling like myself two days later. 😌
