Weddings ? Bad friends ?

Do you think I'm a bad friend for not wanting to show my friend ideas about winter weddings ? I have over 1k ideas on Pinterest of what I want to do for my winter wedding! But , since she's the one who got proposed to first and has a date already set , I guess I can't be too upset . I'm not jealous . I'm happy for her ; but I don't want to feel like the copy cat or give my good ideas away . No, I probably won't use them all - but what if she picks the one I really want to use ?? Am I a bad friend for being hesitant to show her ideas for her wedding ?

Offer to sit down with her and help her create her own Pinterest board with her own ideas for her wedding? That way she's not stealing your ideas and you still get to help? Just an idea :) I wouldn't want to hand over my ideas for a wedding or nursery  and have my ideas used before I had the chance to do so either lol

No. I've tried to get pregnant for 2 years now and have had 2 miscarriages. My once "best friend" went on my pinterwst board and stole a ton of my shit... She used a baby name I've had picked for ages... And a baby announcement I had pinned. Also a nursery theme. I wanted to strangle her! It's not bad to want your own things you don't have to share everything with everyone :)

You're not a bad friend but you do sound kind of jealous for saying it. If ur best friends then you should be giving her ideas. Maybe u won't get married for another 3-5 years. Best friends don't think that way.

No that's completely understandable. I had that problem with one of my friends. When my husband and I were dating we already had talked about our wedding since we planned on getting married about college and surprise surprise her boyfriend purposes to her a month before my boyfriend was going to. Suddenly all of he plans my boyfriend and I had made she suddenly became interested in. She's a preppy girl and suddenly she decided she wanted a fall barn wedding which is what my boyfriend and I had always planned, and then she started taking our details for our wedding also. I hoenslty didn't even know what to do because I felt like I couldn't say anything and she basically Planned my wedding as hers. Oddly enough she ended up not getting married that summer and left to Europe without her fiancé.. Weird situation. Anyways so I got my wedding back lol

No!! Don't show your ideas. She can find her own. All of my friends are either married now or engaged and nobody has got to see my secret Pinterest pins. I have very big ideas like I want an adult bouncy castle at an outdoor wedding party. I want to build my own dance floor with checkers on it and stuff. I'm skipping beer and getting Jones soda 😂 I got the idea on there. Actually I'm too cheap. I found another brand that's $1 a bottle. My pins are super detailed. No way do my friends get my ideas. My party is going to be epic because of not sharing everything.
