Thick endometrial lining,awaiting gyne

Hi,

I went for a pelvic ultrasound a month ago as I was going to a&e for extreme pelvic pain and excessive bleeding. They didn’t do anything but I went to my GP,I had the pelvic ultrasound where they saw my womb lining was thick. They said to have a re scan in 4 weeks to reassess it,I’ve now had the second scan and it is still quite thick. They have sent me for an urgent gynaecologist appointment but haven’t suggested what it could be. I have read up about endometrial hypoplasia but I am scared it could be something worse like cancer as on my test results it says there is erechoic material (not sure what it means) and the lining appears hetereogeneous. Something then about increased echogeneucity and suggesting pathology. I have no idea what it means but I am nervous. Does anyone have any ideas please.

For reference I am only 24,thank you x
