Spotting while pregnant

I have an appointment Friday. That’s the earliest I ever got! But I am 6 weeks and 2 days pregnant with off and on brown spotting. I did see my baby in an ultrasound last week but it was early to see a heartbeat. When I wipe is only when I have brown discharge/spotting on toilet paper. It started Sunday night sometimes it goes then comes back.
