At what point do you ask a small business for your money back?šŸ« 

Iā€™m all for supporting small businesses as I run one myself, but the last 2 small businesses I have bought from have ripped me off. Iā€™m currently getting the run around from someone I ordered from over a week ago. I ordered 2 items that I needed for one of my childrenā€™s milestone photos which has already passed at this point, I sent the money for them as well as payment specifically for shipping because sheā€™s about 2 hours from me, this was on Thursday or Friday last week she told me she was gonna make my items over the weekend and ship them to me on Monday. Monday came and passed I never heard from her then she text me on Wednesday 3 days ago saying sorry she got behind because she has kids but that she was gonna be shipping it the next day (Thursday) and would send me tracking info. She left me on read when I replied. Now again Thursday has came and passed its now Saturday and I still have not heard from her nor did I get any tracking info. I messaged her myself asking where the order is because I would like to know an estimated delivery date as the reason I needed these items have already passed so I had to push the photos off since Iā€™m still waiting. She replied and said she ā€œdidnā€™t have timeā€ to go mail it off all week but that she will be mailing it next week and will send me tracking.. so now Iā€™m having to wait all weekend before she can even mail it then however long itā€™s gonna take to get here. Iā€™m honestly upset and havenā€™t replied because I donā€™t even know what to say. I donā€™t want to be rude or pushy but when I sent my payment she told me it would be done and mailed by that upcoming Monday which was only a 2-3 day wait from the time I ordered and itā€™s now been 9 and counting and still no idea when I will even the items.. if I would have known it was gonna take this long I wouldnā€™t have even ordered. Should I go ahead and ask for my money back ? Or wait until Monday to see if she actually ships it ? Sheā€™s claiming she already has made the items although Iā€™ve not seen pics of them or any proof that sheā€™s made them. The last small business I ordered from refused to send my money back even though I didnā€™t get my items. Sheā€™s just not communicating regularly and Iā€™m starting to feel like Iā€™m getting the run around considering she had the entire business week to go mail it I donā€™t understand how she ā€œdidnā€™t have timeā€ Iā€™m trying to be patient but idk I feel like if youā€™re gonna offer shipping and charge a shipping fee you should be on top of that. Iā€™m starting to think I just want my money back but idk how to ask without sounding like a bitchšŸ˜…
